A Plumber We Trust: From a Whole-Home Repipe to New Sump Pumps

We’ve owned an older home in South Park for years, and like many Seattle homeowners, we’ve had our share of plumbing projects and plumbing headaches.

The inspector flagged it, explaining that the patchwork of different pipe materials and connectors could lead to corrosion, leaks, and maintenance issues over time.

That’s when we met Jon from JT Plumbing NW.

Jon repiped the house, installed a tankless water heater, and cleaned up years of plumbing issues. What impressed us most wasn’t just that everything worked—it was how neat the work was. Our basement ceiling is unfinished, so every pipe is visible. When Jon was done, the plumbing looked organized, clean, and built to last.

Recently, we called Jon back to replace two aging sump pumps that protect our basement from groundwater during Seattle’s wet winters. Living in South Park, keeping water out of the basement is a constant concern. Jon installed new Liberty pumps, added a high-water alarm, and helped us prepare for power outages. Knowing he understands our home’s unique flooding challenges gives us peace of mind every rainy season.

The reason we keep calling JT Plumbing is simple: when Jon does the work, we stop worrying about it.
